A catch-all (or accept-all) email configuration means the mail server accepts emails sent to any address at that domain, regardless of whether the specific mailbox exists. For example, if example.com has catch-all enabled, emails to random123@example.com would be accepted even if that address doesn't exist. This makes email verification challenging because the server won't reject invalid addresses. Catch-all addresses are considered risky because you can't verify if the specific recipient exists.
